Middle Grand River Daytrip 1 of 4

We will be paddling the Grand River through the portion that has been designated the Middle Grand from the past Grand River Expeditions. This is the first leg of the Middle Grand from Eaton Rapids to Grand River Park, and was Day 4 of Expediton 2010. As a consecutive series of Saturday daytrips over several weeks we will avoid the challenge of locating camping facilites, and still enjoy this section of river.
We will meet at 8:00 am in Eaton Rapids behind the Quality Dairy on Saturday July 28 to unload boats and run shuttle down to Grand River Park. Upon returning to the launch site we will paddle 23 miles and stop for lunch in Dimondale. There are restroom facilities at Burchfield Park prior to lunch. All participants must provide their own paddling equipment, lunch, and drinking water for the day. As always, the wearing of a PFD is mandatory during all Club activities.
