It is a fund raiser for the Algonac Lions Club, $20.00 entry fee. It is a Kayak Poker Run. 5-6 Miles. I thought someone might be interested, could also be done in a canoe,

Just thought that i would leave a comment on this paddle, it was organized by a couple of the Algonac Lions Club members that paddle. It was a well organized paddle with safety boaters to control the no wake situation. They had 64 paddlers signed up for the route, which involved going across the north channel of the st clair river to a canal cut through to the south channel, up the south channel to a cut through the middle of russel island, back out into the main river and upstream to another check point. Then downstream to the start. The weather was great as was the comraderie of the other paddlers, as always. And they gave away a kayak too! I would highly recommend this for next year, July 4th weekend……Randy
